THE NEW ALBUM "OFERENDA" IS ALREADY RECORDED

The fifth album by drummer and composer Paulo Almeida was recorded in September 2022 at the Jazz Campus studios in Basel by sound engineer Patrik Zosso and is being mixed by Thiago Monteiro's ears.

The album has 9 original compositions and a strong team with Devin Deniels - alto sax (USA), Lorenzo Vitollo - piano (ITA), Thiago Alves - acoustic bass (BRA) and Oscar Latorre - trumpet (ES). As special guests Paulo invited percussionist Alberto Garcia (ES) and renowned guitarist Lionel Loueke - guitar and voice (NGR).

Album release date in April 2023.
